2020 New Pisces Moon

Today (or yesterday depending on the post date) the New Moon occur at 4 degrees Pisces. This happened at 10:32 AM in Washington D.C on February 23, 2020. The New Moon occurs in the 11^th House, so this month is going to put the focus on groups and social activities and groups. Friends may also be involved. The focus of the group activities may be more spiritual or meditative than usual.

There are 2 major aspects to this New Moon. First is a sextile to Uranus in the 12^th House. For most people this could mean that your dreams or subconscious thoughts become unsettled this month. It could also mean some type of unexpected imprisonment too. I will have more on this in the mundane section as it may be related to quarantines.

The other major aspect is a sextile to Mars and the South Node in the 8^th House. Tax season is here in the US, so for most people this means you will find out that you may have to pay a little bit more. Maybe you can off set some of that by making more since the North Node is the 2^nd House, but one should be prepare for some type of small monetary loss.

At the mundane level, a New Moon in the 11^th house would related to Congress. The focus this month will there. Most likely by passing emergency spending bills to deal with the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak. This is the aspect to Mars in the 8^th House.

The other aspect to Uranus, could indicate that perhaps we start to see formal quarantines in the US besides those who have returned from mainland China. This would be the quarantine of Americans who have Covid-19 who caught the disease here. Perhaps in the different US cities.

If this happens then initially these quarantines will be keep secret as to not create a panic, but I think given the aspect to the New Moon, it will quickly become public knowledge. I wouldn’t expect this to happen right away, but sometime this lunar month it is very possible.
