2020 Retrograde Venus Star Point – The Argument For Consensus

This year’s Venus Star Point is during a retrograde. It occurs on June 3, 2020 at 1:40 PM EDT. A Venus Star point is when Venus conjuncts the Sun, either in during a retrograde or with direct motion. Since this a retrograde Venus Star Point, the people who will come into your life are more likely to have a former friend or an ex than a new person.

If it is new person, be cautious about formalizing the relationship before the Venus retrograde period ends. Relationships that begin under a Venus retrograde usually don’t last too long. However with the quarantine from the coronavirus and now riots in the US, I guess the opportunities to meet new people are not good right now. So it will probably be an ex.

The Venus Sun conjunction occurs in Gemini in the 9^th House of the Washington, D.C. chart. With this conjunction occurring in Gemini, it would be a good time to existing partners who have problems to talk things out and revisit the relationship. For new partners, this may just indicate and extended period of talking online.

This conjunction only makes two aspects, a square to Mars, and quincunx to the Moon. Neither aspect is good if a new partner is coming in. The square to Mars indicates a lot of fights, while the quincunx to the Moon is disconnect in the emotions between partners.

In an existing relationship these aspects may cause more fights and misunderstandings between them for the time being. It doesn’t necessarily indicate a relationship break up as long as the existing relationship is a strong one. Especially since the square is a separating one.

Since Venus Star Points are meant for aids in personal relationship development, using them for mundane interpretation may not exactly work well. But one can’t help see the that riots in the US are essentially a breakdown of consensus on what the law (9^th House) needs to do. Obviously these will continue for a few days at this point.

The square to Mars is separating, so while tension may run high I do think the by the time of this conjunction the riots may be dying down. If not then I would expect Trump to the exercise his executive authority under the Insurrection Act and deploy the US military soon. I am not exactly sure how this would work since the law has been rarely used in US history and hasn’t been used for the last few decades.
