2020 Taurus New Moon – Time to Get Creative!

On Tuesday April 22, 2020 at 10:26 PM EDT in Washington D.C., the New Moon in Taurus arrives. The question on everyone’s mind this lunar month is will the lockdown/quarantine end. Will people go back to work? Based on this chart, I would say no. Most of the planets, except Venus, are below the horizon. This means that planetary energy for this lunar month is still hidden from public view and the more likely to be expressed at home.

This month the New Moon lands in the 5^th House. It is time for people to get creative with what they are doing. If you are out of work now is the time to work on that art project or story you always wanted to write. If you are still working maybe if it is getting creative with how you do your job. Or this may indicated that you need to get a garden going too.

This could also be the start of a new romance. Especially if Venus is in the 7^th House. However if you do start a new romance, there is a good chance it may not last. Venus turns retrograde on May 13, 2020 and this typically means any new romance is of a temporary nature.

The New Moon makes one major aspect. A separating square to Saturn in the 2^nd House. This shows the restrictions of your finances during this time. Everyone’s financial system will be affect this month even if you have regular work. There are big changes coming because of the Jupiter Pluto Conjunction.

On the mundane level this same aspect in the means the entire countries financial system is going through the same thing. Expect big loses in certain sectors and as well a major changes. Oil going to -$37 per barrel is only the start of the financial changes and losses the US will experience.

The New Moon’s placement in the 5^th House squaring Saturn would likely indicate a growing opposition to the quarantine measures in place. We can see that already with some protests in various states. One fourth of the country is now unemployed. This is Great Depression levels of employment and some people want to go back to work even if that means getting sick with a deadly disease.

I would expect the protest next month to focus on what Congress can do versus what the President can. This will likely be financially focus as another bailout package for small businesses. I would also expect that to play out in the different State governments too. This however will focus on actually ending the quarantine measures and getting people back to work.

I would strongly caution people against this. This chart is showing the focus on the 5^th House, creativity. Not the 6^th House of work. The rule of the 6^th house, Venus, while having dignity by term, is about to go retrograde on May 13. That is during this lunar cycle. Retrograde is a major accidental debility that can cancel out a minor dignity like term. Any quarantine measures removed prematurely will likely result in a greater loss of live. There is historical examples of this happening in 1918, during the Spanish Flu particularity in Philadelphia, Pa.
