2021 Capricorn New Moon – Power to the People!

On January 13, 12 AM EST, the New Moon is within an one degree of a conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn. In the Washington D.C. chart, this occurs in the 4^th House. This New Moon only has a weak separating sextile aspect to Neptune in Pisces in the 5^th House. Also in the 4^th House is a Mercury Jupiter Saturn conjunction in Aquarius.

Typically when the 4^th House is activated it can mean a very bad time for the the existing government. Since the January 6, 2021 Capital Hill Riot, Trump has had a very bad previous week. It is likely to continue throughout the rest of the lunar month.

However, it is clear that Trump is no longer in charge of the government. So this is not really about him anyone. New Moons in the 4^th House typically give power to the people in the county and not the government. So, this new moon is about the people’s reaction to the government, and their rebellion against it.

There are a few possible ways this can manifest over the next month. The first is that Trump’s supporters may have more power to resist the the proposed laws of the incoming Biden administration than they realize. While the media is spinning the Capital Hill Riot as borderline insurrection, the optics of it actually don’t look good for them either.

Congress basically got terrified of a group of unarmed Boomers taking an unauthorized tour of the building. Compared to the multiple neighborhood burning down last summer during the BLM riots it looked rather tame.

Additionally, the Democrats in charge of the big technology corporations have decided now is the time to purge Trump and all of his supporters from the Internet. This purge is freaking everyone on the conservation side out, and will likely cause his supporters to rally even more around him despite his apparent defeat. Do not expect the conservatives to back down now, and stop protesting. They will continue and it will likely get worst.

The other angle to look at this is how the far left side is going react to incoming Biden administration. Frankly, they expect to get full socialism very shortly. As Congress looks to impeaching Trump again, they may get frustrated that it and could take up a lot time preventing them from working on their socialist priorities. Therefore the far left, may decide to take take things in own hands too, and begin to protest again to pressure Congress to stop wasting time.

Most likely is that both scenarios happen. It is 2021. Did anyone really think the craziest would end just because the year changed?
